With rear wheel drive and a six-speed shiftable automatic transmission, the Transit Van is easy to handle. Compared to the E-Series, the Transit Van is estimated to be 25 percent more fuel efficient and approximately 300 pounds lighter.
On the outside, the Ford Transit features a large, angled windshield, a high roof, and soft edges on the front of the vehicle.
